"Friendly, comfortable, great location. Excellent hosts and friendly staff. Spacious room and ensuite, fantastic views and all spotlessly clean. Evening meal and breakfast where great. It was the ideal location for our day out on the Crinan canal."
"A Double Review! I stayed here on two separate occassions on consecutive weeks for business. The first week I was on my own and stayed in room 3, which had a double and a single bed, and the week after with my wife and boy stayed in room 9 which again had a double and single bed but they also provided a cot bed. The staff are brilliant, really friendly and efficient. The restaurant has the most amazing view over the Loch, and the menu is varied and they have weekly specials. Breakfast is very good . The rooms are spacious, bathrooms are a bit tired but they do the job, no bath in a family room but appreciate they take up half the space of the bathroom. WiFi can be sporadic which is a pain for business stuff, but im only nit picking here. Ideal location to get up and down the peninsula."
"West Coast Wonder A very good mid range hotel located on the shore with wonderful views across Loch Gilp and Loch Fyne. Very clean and comfortable accommodation Excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money"
"I stayed two nights in July 2014 . Then room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Although I did not have a loch view it suited me well. At breakfast the view over the loch was amazing and the breakfast was delicious . Poached eggs were perfect just the way like them.. I ate in the hotel at night. Fish and..."
"I stop here on average once a fortnight and I can well recommend it, friendly, great food, blackboard specials change often, good prices, self contained (no need to go out on a Winters night), real ale in bottle at the bar, most rooms have plenty of workspace for a laptop etc.....better than pricer places nearby."
"stayed at this hotel for the 1 night just but I will certainly be back, room 3 right next to reception so was ok for Wi-Fi, did hear people come and go from the front door of the hotel but was ok as was not late at night, food was excellent as was the staff who are really friendly."
